Held on Sunday mornings at this award-winning craft distillery, this 1.5-hour masterclass takes you behind the scenes and straight to the blending bench. You'll be guided by Old Young's expert distillers through the fascinating world of gin — from the history of the spirit to the science of botanicals and how they interact to create flavour.
From the moment you arrive, you're treated like a VIP. Kick things off with a complimentary signature Old Young's gin and tonic as you settle in and get acquainted with your fellow gin lovers. Then it's time to get hands-on.
You'll nose and sample Old Young's best-selling gin varieties to sharpen your palate, before choosing your favourite botanicals from a curated selection. Layer your flavours, refine your blend, and taste as you go until your recipe is exactly right. Once you're happy, you'll bottle and label your very own bespoke 200ml creation — a gin made entirely to your taste, ready to take home.
Whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned gin enthusiast, this is a genuinely fun and educational experience set in one of Western Australia's most celebrated distilleries. Private group bookings are also available — perfect for birthdays, hens parties, or corporate events.
