『Why We Created This Walking Tour』
As professional rickshaw artisans, we love guiding guests through Kyoto, but some of Gion’s most enchanting, hidden Geisha backstreets are simply too narrow for a rickshaw to enter. At the same time, we noticed that many international travelers didn't just want to take in the views passively—they wanted to stretch their legs, stay active, and truly feel part of the environment.
That’s why we launched this walking tour with NINJAYA. By exploring on foot alongside our vibrant local talents—like our famous Uji-Macho guides—you get exclusive access to quiet, secluded alleys where traditional Geiko and Maiko culture quietly thrives.
