Discover the heart of Oman on this immersive full-day cultural tour. Start your journey from Muscat with a scenic drive through the Hajar Mountains to Nizwa, the former capital of Oman. Begin with a tour of Nizwa Fort, one of the country’s most famous landmarks, known for its huge circular tower and strategic history. Continue to Nizwa Souq, a vibrant market where locals trade silver jewelry, spices, pottery, and fresh dates.
After a traditional Omani lunch, head to Al Hamra Old Village, home to some of Oman’s best-preserved mudbrick houses. Walk through the narrow alleys and visit Bait Al Safah Museum, where local women demonstrate traditional crafts like Omani coffee preparation, bread making, and weaving.
Our final stop is Misfat Al Abriyeen, one of Oman’s most beautiful mountain villages. Wander through its stone alleyways, see the ancient falaj irrigation channels, and take in the serene views of palm groves and terraced farms before returning to Muscat.
