Join us on a culinary journey around the UKs most beautiful city for a 4- hour tour. Taste authentic local and global dishes at incredible independents. Take the opportunity to sightsee between bites and learn about Chester’s growing food scene. You will eat in an historic pub and enjoy Chester-made, artisanal produce in one of its most important buildings. Hear stories of the city from your local, award-winning tour guide that help bring the Chester to life!
Tastings can include a traditional handmade pie paired with locally brewed craft beer, European tapas made with regional ingredients by a Sicilian chef, authentic bao buns and crispy chicken inspired by Thai and Chinese cuisine, and a craft ale enjoyed along the ancient Roman walls.
The experience continues with a Cheshire baked cheesecake created by a master pâtissier, hot smoked salmon from a historic family fishmonger, handmade artisanal chocolates produced in the city, and a Cheshire gin tasting served with the famous local Cheshire cheese — all enriched by stories and traditions from Chester’s past.
