Stop in the "Yucca Capital" for an authentic culinary ritual. Sample traditional yucca con chicharrón and a selection of seasonal highland fruits—tasting whatever is freshest that morning, from tart Jocote Corona to sweet Zapote. Pair these with a locally roasted artisanal coffee while soaking in the energy of this historic town.
Climb to the highest point of your route (1,500m / 4,900ft) for a literal breath of fresh air. The tour starts at 10:00 AM to allow for a relaxed morning.
The itinerary includes a visit to volcanic hot springs, so swimwear is recommended.
The tour involves walking in towns and at the hot springs, so comfortable clothing and footwear are advised.
We meet at Epic Plaza in Nuevo Cuscatlan. You can arrive early to visit the pharmacy or supermarket on-site. It is the perfect place to grab last-minute sunscreen, a towel, or extra snacks before we depart at 10:00 AM.

- Massages & Spa Treatments: While your entry to the thermal pools and access to the volcanic mud/masks are included, professional massages are a premium on-site service and must be paid for directly at the spa.
