Starting from the Königs Wusterhausen train station, we follow the historic Bahnhofstraße towards the old town. You will learn how the former farming town changed with the connection to the railroad in the 19th century and developed into an important regional center.

Along the picturesque Notte Canal, we encounter the history of trade and shipping in Brandenburg. The canal has connected the region with Berlin for centuries and made the transportation of building materials, agricultural products, and other goods possible.

The focus of the guided tour is Königs Wusterhausen Castle, which is closely linked to Friedrich Wilhelm I, the "Soldier King". The Prussian monarch spent numerous stays here and left a lasting mark on the place.
