In the heart of the tropical nature of Goyave, experience an authentic immersion in the very history of cocoa alongside Mikael, founder of Natibwa and a passionate cultural mediator. This experience invites you to discover all the stages of cocoa processing, from the fresh pod to traditional chocolate.
The tour takes place in a Creole garden where fruit trees and plants emblematic of the Caribbean grow. You will discover the secrets of cocoa, the drying and roasting techniques, and then take part in a hands-on demonstration of each step, culminating in the making of a traditional cocoa bar.
The experience concludes with the preparation and food tasting of a traditional plant-based hot chocolate, in a friendly atmosphere that encourages discussion about the history of cocoa, Guadeloupean traditions, and local expertise.
