Join a guided hike to Skåla, one of Norway’s most iconic mountain experiences. Climb to the summit, enjoy a fresh baguette lunch, and take in breathtaking views of fjords and glaciers.
Meet your guide at the Skåla parking area and begin your ascent to the summit. Hike from near sea level all the way up to 1,848 meters, making Skåla Northern Europe’s longest continuous ascent.
Follow a well-marked trail that steadily climbs through forest, rocky terrain, and into the high mountains. Along the way, the landscape opens up with increasingly dramatic views of the surrounding fjords and peaks.
At the summit, take a well-earned break and enjoy a freshly prepared baguette lunch, with several filling options including a vegetarian choice. On a clear day, be rewarded with breathtaking views of fjords, sharp mountain peaks, and the vast Jostedalsbreen glacier.
After lunch, begin your descent back to the starting point.
