Valid passport is required on the day of travel.
Wear comfortable shoes as there is a walking and there will be 1250 stairs climbing at Sigiriya Lions Rock.
All visitors to Buddhist and Hindu temples are expected to remove their shoes and hats. Shoulders and knees should also be covered.
