Setting off along the Kampala–Gulu highway, you’ll travel through vibrant urban outskirts into Uganda’s tranquil countryside, passing roadside markets, small trading centers, and expansive farmlands.

The first stop is in Luweero, a culturally and historically significant area. Here, you can stretch, browse local fruit stalls, and observe daily life in a rural Ugandan town. The journey continues with another brief stop in Nakasongola town, offering a chance to refresh and interact with locals while taking in the slower pace of life.

Upon arrival at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, you’ll receive a safety briefing before beginning a guided rhino tracking experience on foot. Accompanied by knowledgeable rangers, you’ll walk through the sanctuary’s savannah landscape in search of the southern white rhinos.
