After an introduction to Bordeaux wines and the art of wine tasting, you'll discover the key rules for successful food and wine pairings! You'll taste 3 great wines and artisanal dishes.
Come and discover the art of wine tasting and food & wine pairing in a friendly, fun atmosphere at our workshop in the heart of Bordeaux. During this workshop, you'll taste 3 great Bordeaux wines:
- sturgeon rillettes with French caviar
- artisanal dried duck breast
- blue cheese

After a brief introduction to Bordeaux wines and terroirs, and the steps involved in wine tasting, our sommelier will introduce you to the 3 main principles of successful wine and food pairing, and then, of course, put them into practice!

Each pairing will be an opportunity to talk about the products tasted, their history, and the reasons why we suggest each pairing. We've specially selected local artisan foods and fine wines for interesting pairings.

Let yourself be surprised by the alchemy that can occur between food and wine. Because beyond general principles, a good pairing implies an element of curiosity, even audacity, and must allow each element to be sublimated individually while creating harmony.

This participatory workshop will give you the opportunity to interact, ask questions and share your experience in a friendly and free atmosphere.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
