Description
Discover all the secrets of an artisan bean-to-bar workshop with an immersive video set in a plantation, a guided tour of the Chocolate Factory, and a tasting of single-origin chocolates.
Visit Enrico Rizzi's Chocolate Factory in the heart of Milan, just a few minutes from Piazza del Duomo, and discover all the secrets of a small artisan "bean to bar" workshop, where cocoa beans are processed from roasting to final packaging.
The tour begins in the sensory room, where, thanks to "Virtual Reality 360" technology, which offers visitors an immersive and engaging experience, you can explore a cocoa plantation in Peru, experiencing the stages of harvesting, fermenting, and drying the beans. The visit continues through the roasting room and the chocolate library, a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment where the chocolate rests and is refined with spices, teas, and infusions. Finally, in the workshop area, visitors can watch the cocoa beans being processed, from the separation of the shells to the slow stone grinding (up to 80 hours).
This is followed by a guided tasting of three or five grand cru chocolates. Depending on the ticket purchased, guests will be entitled to different types of tasting.
